Over the weekend of the festival, we will be offering face painting for children and a range of kids activities too!
It’s not a forgotten art, but it’s a rare day you get to pick up a new skill like this. Handy? We hope so. There is knot tying lessons if you’re up for the challenge.

Model boat building is a thing. Right before racing those model boats. Try your hand at something challenging.
Historic and Classic Wooden Boats on show both on water and land. A visit by Tall Ship, Stormy Bay and a colourful Sail Past parade with boats dressed in their finery. We have yacht racing events throughout the weekend including sailing lessons for visitors.
